Rihanna is showing the world that she's firmly in Chris Brown's corner -- this time, by accompanying the embattled pop star to his probation status update hearing in court.
Rihanna sat behind Brown, with his mother, reportedly blowing him kisses while he answered allegations that he failed to complete his court-ordered community service stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna.
Brown arrived at the Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday ready to refute prosecutor's assertions that he had falsified claims of his community service, which he was allowed to do in his home state of Virginia. The 23-year-old maintains that he completed all six months accurately.
Rihanna and Brown's turbulent relationship was finally confirmed last week after months of speculation. Many fans, including "Girls" creator and star, Lena Dunham, are disappointed in Rihanna's decision to go back to her ex: "You know, she left Barbados, she's had this amazing career, she's won a Grammy -- she's talented. And then she gets back together with Chris Brown and posts a million pictures of them smoking marijuana together on a bed," said Dunham during an interview with Alec Baldwin.
Dunham continued, "It cracks my heart in half in a way that makes me feel like I'm 95 years old."
