Lindsay Lohan was in court Wednesday despite reports that she was not going to attend, because she is sick.
The star’s attorney Mark Heller told the judge that his client has an upper respiratory illness, but felt good enough to attend the hearing Wednesday.
During the brief hearing, Judge Stephanie Sautner set another pre-trial hearing for March 1, and a trial date for March 18. Lohan is facing charges for allegedly driving recklessly in Santa Monica, California, and then lying to police officers last June.
Those new charges aren’t the only legal issue surrounding this case. Lohan is on probation for her no-contest plea to a grand theft charge for stealing a necklace.
Sautner told Lohan Wednesday that the issue of whether or not she violated probation will be decided at her trial in March.
