Ex-girlfriend: Alexander cheated on me with Arias

Travis Alexander’s ex-girlfriend said she broke up with him after she found out he was cheating on her with Jodi Arias.

Lisa Diadone (maiden name Andrews) (pictured below) testified Wednesday in Arias’ trial that she had an on-again-off-again relationship with Alexander for almost eight months from July 2007 to February 2008.

Arias has said that she and Alexander started dating in February 2007 and broke up on June 29 of that year, but continued to have sex.

Diadone said Wednesday that while she was with Alexander, they never had sex, and she was shocked to find out after his death that Alexander wasn't a virgin.

Diadone said she was 19 years old and Alexander was almost 30 when they were dating. She also said that he started talking about marriage a couple months after they began a relationship.

After she broke up with Alexander for cheating on her, Diadone said Alexander was very “persistent” so they got back together. They broke up again, because Alexander wanted to get married, and she was uncomfortable with the idea of marriage because she was so young. They got back together again, but the couple mutually called it quits for the last time in February of 2008.

This isn't the first time Diadone has come up during the trial. Prosecutor Juan Martinez told the court that he was not going to call Diadone to the stand, because he was concerned that her testimony about Arias allegedly stalking Alexander would be too prejudicial.

During the investigation into Alexander's death, Diadone told Mesa, Arizona police Det. Esteban Flores that she believed Arias slashed Alexander's tires a couple of times, and thought Arias sent her a threatening email invoking God.
