What turns people of all ages into Beliebers? Turns out an acoustic album helps a lot.
On Tuesday, Justin Bieber released his highly anticipated acoustic album, “Believe Acoustic,” and the praise is universal. Just take a glance at Twitter, and there are millions of fans praising the Biebs and quickly purchasing his new album.
The album contains eight reworked tracks from his massively successful 2012 album, "Believe," plus three new songs. One of the new songs getting a lot of buzz is "Nothing Like Us."
The 18-year-old tells Billboard magazine that the song is about his recent breakup with Selena Gomez. Bieber tells the magazine that he thinks this is a song that everyone will be able to relate to.
While penning "Nothing Like Us" might have been a cathartic experience for Bieber, the breakup hasn’t been easy. "I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been. I'm trying to get through what I'm going through," Bieber tells Billboard.
There's one thing that should put a smile on the Biebs' face. "Believe Acoustic" is set to be Bieber’s fifth No. 1 album, a milestone no other singer of his age has accomplished in half a century.
