In the second part of his interview with Dr. Phil, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo tried to prove he was the voice of Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o's "fake" girlfriend, Lennay Kekua.

Tuiasosopo performed the voice for Dr. Phil behind a curtain as he re-enacted voicemails "Lennay" had left for Te'o. Dr. Phil says three independent forensic voice analysts concluded that Tuiasosopo was the female voice in the recordings.

When asked why he created the Lennay persona, Tuiasosopo said that he was able to feel confident by hiding behind the character. He used the persona to participate in an online relationship with Te'o.

When asked if he was in love with Te'o, Tuiasosopo said yes.

"I pretty much had this escape of Lennay from everything else, and this was where my heart had pretty much invested. Not just time, but all of my energy went into this," Tuiasosopo told Dr. Phil.

In regards to Tuiasosopo's sexual orientation, the 22-year-old says he is "not sure," even after telling Dr. Phil in the first part of the interview that he thought he could be gay. But later he backed off those remarks, describing his state as that of a recovering drug addict.

"It takes a lot of courage to stand and say that ... to recover from homosexuality and this type of thing. Not just that, but coming back to your real life. As hard as a task as that is, I'm going to do all I can to live right."

Tuiasosopo's parents also appeared on the show, who heard from Ronaiah for the first time that he was molested as a child by a family friend.
