The LAPD tells HLN that actor Taye Diggs returned home after the SAG Awards on Sunday evening and found a 20-year-old man looking for items to steal inside his garage. Diggs sprung into action and chased down the intruder before detaining the suspect until police arrived. The intruder was booked for burglary.
Diggs is not the first actor to play a real-life hero. Back in August, rapper-actor LL Cool J came face-to-face with an intruder at his home and was able to detain him until police arrived as well.
