Jose Baez, Casey Anthony's former attorney, has merged his law firm with Trial Pro and will soon appear on commercials for legal services.

Jose Baez may soon be appearing in TV commercials hawking legal services.

Casey Anthony's former attorney has merged his law firm with Trial Pro, a company known for its law ads in Central Florida, according to HLN affiliate WKMG in Orlando.

Baez says the Anthony trial "allowed [his firm] to grow a lot faster than [they] probably would have before." He also says he will be a part of new commercials for the firm.

Anthony’s trial caught the national spotlight in the summer of 2011. Baez helped secure an acquittal in Anthony’s trial in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Baez stopped representing Anthony shortly after the trial. Her other criminal trial attorney, Cheney Mason, continues to represent her.

Baez is also representing clients outside of Florida. In August, Baez announced he would represent some of the victim’s families from the Aurora, Colorado, mass shooting.
