Authorities have identified the suspected gunman in Tuesday's shooting on a community college campus in Texas.
The shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m. ET) at Lone Star College’s North Harris campus, which is located 20 miles north of Houston.
Authorities said 22-year-old Carlton Berry and another man were arguing with each other when Berry pulled out a gun. According to HLN affiliate KHOU, a law enforcement source said Berry shot the man he was arguing with, then accidentally shot himself in the buttocks when he tried to put the gun in his pants.
Investigators said a maintenance worker who was shot in the leg was an innocent bystander in the incident. Officials said a fourth person who was hurt on campus had some sort of medical issue.
Law enforcement sources said Berry turned himself in at the hospital. He has been charged with aggravated assault.
