Joel Perez is accused of hitting his brother on the head with an urn full of human ashes during an argument.

An Ohio man is accused of hitting his brother on the head with an urn full of human ashes during an argument.

According to WEWS, Lorain police say officers responded to a domestic violence incident on Friday and allegedly witnessed 23-year-old Joel Perez smashing the urn over his brother’s head and threatening to kill him. Perez reportedly struggled with officers when they tried to arrest him.

He was eventually taken into custody and charged with felonious assault, domestic violence and resisting arrest, court records showed.
