Jennifer Lopez and her beau of more than a year, Casper Smart, are expanding their family... with a puppy!

The pair, who named the puppy after their nickname for one another, "bear," tweeted the news to their fans. "Introducing the new addition to the family. 'Bear,'" wrote Smart, who also included a picture of the brown boxer puppy.

Lopez, 43, retweeted the 25-year-old's message, adding "So happy! LilBabyBear. Could get confusing!"

Lopez, who has 4-year-old twins from her marriage to singer Marc Anthony, has not ruled out having more children in the future. Just days before announcing the puppy news, the "Parker" actress told E! Online, "I would love to have more [kids]. I don't know if it's in the cards for me, but I would love it."
