Mark Wahlberg has some good news for fans of the highly successful movie "Ted" and its potty-mouthed title character: There's going to be a sequel!
The "Broken City" star stopped by Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show, "Anderson Live," to confirm the big news and give fans more details about the upcoming project: "There is a Ted 2, we've already locked the deal. They are off writing now," he told Cooper.
Wahlberg, who starred in the original "Ted," alongside the voice of Seth McFarlane as the teddy bear, said that he's confident in the future Oscars host, who also wrote and directed the film. "I've never done a sequel before, but I have just so much confidence in Seth. He is just such a talented and funny guy," Wahlberg gushed.
The actor also revealed his date to the Oscars will not be his wife: "Actually, because Seth is hosting the Oscars, Ted and I will be appearing at the Oscars," Wahlberg said, smiling.
Citing the bear's penchant for marijuana, Cooper replied, "I hope Ted doesn't smoke a bong before the Oscars, because he gets into trouble!"
