Catskills: It's not just a bunch of mountains in New York anymore. Kido, the sweet white powder puff above, has some serious cup-game mojo that defies what we think we know about cats. Namely, that they don't care much for humans or their silly games.
A lot of YouTube commenters have offered up a simple explanation: It's a bell, obviously! Which, yes, if you play along and listen closely, you can hear the bell tinkling under the metal cups. But that still doesn't explain why Kido is not only playing the game just like a human would play it, but is playing the game at all!
"If you are a pet owner, you know how hard it is to get them to do something, especially on the first time (without previous training)," the video introduction reads. Amen to that.
The video poster also says Kido was a rescue cat who was abandoned twice before finding a permanent, loving home.
"I could never understand how people would abandon a sweet and fun kitty like Kido," the description reads. "It's their loss and I hope they will realize. I hope all homeless animals can find their forever loving home."
