No pushing: One of lost book's 157 life lessons

Clean up your mess, don’t get in other people’s business and don’t call each other names – those seem like pretty fair rules to live by, right?

Raymond Flores, a Wal-Mart employee in Citrus Heights, California found a little book in the parking lot packed with 157 of these life lessons. The handwriting suggests they may have been written by a child.

Some of our other favorites include:

  • #81. ware (sic) a seatbelt
  • #126. resicle (that would be recycle!)

Flores noticed rule #158 was started – but not finished -- proving this little book of lessons was still a work in progress.

He also really took to heart rule #154: protect this book! That's why Flores really wants to reunite it with its author.

The rules are simple but still pretty powerful, which left us thinking about what we might include in our own rule books. What would you add to yours?
