You may have seen an advertisement for a certain insurance company that features a very patient agent speaking with a former customer who's eager to have his policy reinstated in light of things having gotten, um, sideways with his ride.
A Lafayette, Louisiana, man found himself in a similar situation early Tuesday morning, according to HLN affiliate WVLA, and police say he was intoxicated.
Authorities say Gabriel Andrews Jr., 22, lost control of his vehicle around 4:30 a.m., causing him to land in the awkward position.
No one was hurt in the crash, but officials had to free Andrews from his car. Andrews was later charged with operating while intoxicated.
