So in 2013, we're focusing on getting healthy, getting fit, and ways for you to actually make those resolutions stick!

Here are Kristen's top tips for getting fit in 2013!
Tip 1. Start small and forget the phrase, "go hard, or go home". Studies have shown that when you want to make lasting changes, you've got to take small steps towards your desired outcome. That is where the true progress lies.
Tip 2. Surround yourself with positive people. THIS is my number one goal for myself this year. Sometimes we can get sucked in by people who want to rant and rave all the time. Constant negativity is not good. My advice to you? Hang around with strong, secure, and confident people; because those types of people lift each other up, and do not put others down.
Tip 3. Sign up for an event, like a race. Want to lose 5 pounds? I think you can do WAY better than that. Training and competing in a race or competition will not only leave you feeling empowered, but will help you shed that excess weight.
Tip 4. Design playlists for each different type of workout you'll be doing during the week. Setting the tone for your workout truly helps you feel inspired to get moving. Don’t have the same playlist for each workout, either. Pick fun, upbeat tracks for your “running” playlist, and so on.
