Police say Tommy Mack Small, Jr., 32, scammed a family by falsely offering to put gravel in their driveway, HLN affiliate WCCB-TV reported.
After allegedly receiving the money and asking the family to move their cars out of the driveway, police reportedly say Small left the scene.
Small was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny.
