Just seven months after giving birth to her first child, Jessica Simpson announced today that she is pregnant again. The fashion mogul let the world know she's expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson.
Simpson used the digital equivalent of a press release, revealing the news with a picture on Twitter. The image had the 32-year-old’s first child, Maxwell Drew, sitting in sand with the words “Big Sis” written in it.
Her representative confirmed the news to HLN.
The revelation follows weeks of rumors about Simpson’s pregnancy status. The singer gave birth to her daughter in May.
Then, she signed-on to a very public campaign to drop pounds post-pregnancy as a Weight Watchers spokesperson.
In September, Simpson announced she had lost more than 40 pounds. Six days ago she showed off her new frame in People magazine while shooting her new Weight Watchers’ ads. The new slate of advertisements are scheduled to begin airing today, according to People magazine.
