Channing Tatum and his actress wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are expecting their first child next year.

Channing Tatum can add another accolade to his 2012 list -- expectant dad! The 2012 Sexiest Man Alive and his actress wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum have announced that they have a baby on the way.

A rep for Channing told HLN the pair "are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year.”

The pair, who met on the set of 2006's "Step Up" and have been married for three years, made the announcement on the heels on this breakout year for Tatum.

In addition to being named People's "Sexiest Man Alive" in November, Tatum starred in "21 Jump Street" and "Magic Mike," both huge hits at the box office, as well as having starring roles in "The Vow," and in "10 Years" alongside his wife.
