Maybe you're like me. I was done with "Gangnam Style."
Fun song, but by the 70th parody I had to agree with every site out there pronouncing the craze officially dead. Shuffle over "Call Me Maybe," make some room in the clearance bin.
Also, that resurfaced anti-American screed from Psy is not exactly pumping new life into his giddy-up dance phenomenon.
And then this video happened.
Maybe because its star isn't Psy, but instead a talented 10-year-old backed by cheerleaders and a surprisingly nimble mascot.
Or maybe because it only leads in with "Gangnam Style" before switching over to "Teach Me How to Dougie" (speaking of discarded dance crazes....) for most of the video.
But somehow, Christian Bottger (aka, Little Fear) and his routine at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game made me fall in love (or at least fall in like) all over again with this song. The team also seems especially fond of the tune, as you'll see in the second video down which was recorded pre-Little Fear Phenomenon and has more than 150,000 views on YouTube.
