A fourth man is alleging that he engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct as a minor with puppeteer Kevin Clash, the voice of popular "Sesame Street" character Elmo.

In a statement released Monday, the new accuser’s attorney says Clash paid for the transportation of a minor from Florida to New York for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity. Attorney Jeff Herman, a nationally recognized attorney for victims of sexual abuse, is representing the alleged victim.

The statement also claims Clash and the victim, who was 16 or 17 at the time, met when they were both in Miami Beach, Florida, and that the puppeteer approached and befriended the young man. They stayed in contact by phone after Clash went back to New York, according to a recently filed lawsuit, which states that the victim was contemplating running away from home and Clash “lured him” to New York with promises of money and a free place to stay.

This is the fourth accuser that says he had a sexual relationship with the puppeteer when he was underage. Clash resigned from his employer, the Sesame Street Workshop, in late November after the second allegations of an inappropriate relationship with an underage boy.
