McAfee flees Belize amid murder allegations

John McAfee denies he had anything to do with slaying
McAfee says he's left Belize; Gregory Faull was found dead last month

John McAfee is accused of killing his neighbor Gregory Faull.

John McAfee says he has fled to Guatemala from Belize where investigators want to question the computer entrepreneur John McAfee about his neighbor’s death.

McAfee is famous for the Internet security company that he left in 1994, but that still carries his name.

Gregory Faull, a U.S. citizen and McAfee’s neighbor in Belize, was found dead November 11 with a gunshot in the back of his head.

McAfee posted the following blog entry on his personal website “WhoisMcAfee.com” Tuesday:

“I apologize for all of the misdirections over the past few days. It was not easy to exit Belize and required many supporters in many countries. I am in Guatemala and will be meeting with Guatemalan officials this morning. If all goes well I will do a press conference tomorrow”.
