Israel Keyes, who was arrested and charged in the murder of a barista, confessed to at least seven other killings.

The FBI says a man who was arrested in March and charged in the murder of an Alaskan barista confessed to at least seven other killings.

After his arrest in connection with the murder of an Anchorage, Alaska, barista Samantha Koenig, Israel Keyes admitted to killing a Vermont couple, Bill and Lorraine Currier.

But Keyes will never stand trial in connection with any of the murders because he killed himself while in custody Sunday. The FBI field office in Alaska on Monday asked for the public’s help with any information on Keyes’ travels over the years because they are hoping to identify more victims.

"Based upon [the] investigation conducted following his arrest in March 2012, Israel Keyes is believed to have committed multiple kidnappings and murders across the country between 2001 and March 2012," the office said in a statement. "Keyes described significant planning and preparation for his murders, reflecting a meticulous and organized approach to his crimes."

Keyes told investigators about buried supplies he planned to use in future crimes. Authorities found caches of supplies in Alaska and New York. They said he intended to use the items to dispose of his victims’ bodies.

The FBI released a disturbing audio file of Keyes detailing the deception of leading a double life to commit the crimes, according to KTUU.

“There is no one who knows me, or has ever known me, who knows anything about me really,” Keyes says. “They know -- they’re going to tell you something that does not line up with anything I tell you, because I’m two different people, basically. And the only person who knows about what I’m telling you -- the kind of things I’m telling you -- is me.”
