Lindsay Lohan was arrested early Thursday after an incident in a Manhattan nightclub.

Lindsay Lohan is in trouble with the law again.

The "Liz and Dick" actress was arrested around 4 a.m. ET Thursday after she allegedly hit a woman in a Manhattan nightclub, police said.

Both Lohan and the other woman were taken the precinct, but the woman was not charged, according to a police spokesperson.

Police said the alleged victim was examined at the precinct, but there was no physical injuries and she didn't want to go to the hospital.

Lohan was charged with assault and has since been released from police custody.
