Bobby Kristina and her adopted brother, Nick Gordon, are no longer a couple.

Bobbi Kristina Brown and her adopted brother, Nick Gordon, are apparently no longer a couple.

Last week, 22-year-old Gordon revealed on Twitter that he and Brown, the 19-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston, were no longer seeing each other. "@REALbkbrown and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been," said the adopted son of Whitney Houston.

Their relationship, which was a highlight on their Lifetime reality show "The Houstons: On Our Own," has been intensely criticized with some calling it incestuous and showed Bobbi Kris' aunt Pat Houston disapproving of their engagement.

Brown tweeted cryptic messages in the days following the news posting: "I guess it's time 4me2stop depending on anymore. It's my time2follow what Mom&The Lord put out on this path for me. #Thankful. Mom xxo"

On Wednesday, Brown was involved in a car crash in Atlanta, Georgia, while leaving her apartment. TMZ reports that while the car sustained extensive damage, Brown walked away from the scene uninjured. No drugs or alcohol are suspected in the accident.
