They’re accused of running an unusual family business, that’s for sure.
Texas authorities believe a father, son and daughter are connected with a string of bank robberies in Texas and Oregon.
Police identified the family Friday as 50-year-old Ronald Scott Catt, his son Hayden Scott Catt, 20, and his 18-year-old daughter Abigail "Abby" Catt.
Investigators said they recognized the father and son from surveillance video around the 1st Community Credit Union in Katy, Texas, even though they were in disguises.
The father wore a painter’s mask and the son wore a fake moustache, police said. They both wore dark sunglasses and orange traffic vests. Police say Abigail Catt drove the getaway car.
Detectives identified the adult children buying the vests with their dad’s debit card at Home Depot and the father was recognized buying the painter’s mask.
The family was arrested on November 9. Ronald and Hayden Scott Catt are being held on $140,000 bond and Abigail Catt is held on $100,000 bond.
