Joining the ranks of Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian was a guest at the Marine Corps Ball Thursday night in Greenville, North Carolina. Even though there wasn't a viral video invite to ask the reality star to go, Kardashian attended as the date of Sgt. Martin Gardner.

Clad in an eye-popping tight red gown, Kim rearranged her schedule to be able to attend the ball after being issued the invite. After the event, Kardashian tweeted, "Just left the Marine Corps Ball. Thanks to all of the marines I had the opportunity to meet tonight ! Thank you for all that you do!"

When the ball was over, Kardashian hopped on a plane back to Florida to continue filming her E! reality show "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami." Once she landed, Kardashian tweeted again "Back in Miami! Had a great time in North Carolina!"
