Gregory Faull, a U.S. citizen and McAfee’s neighbor in Belize, was found dead Sunday morning with a gunshot wound in the back of his head.
In communications with Wired magazine, McAfee said he didn’t kill Faull and that he’s hiding from police because he fears for his life. McAfee also says he believes whoever killed Faull was actually coming for him.
Police say they do not know a motive for the shooting, but are following several leads.
