It's safe to say that President Obama had a good night. Not only did he win a hard-fought election against Mitt Romney, but he also had the most retweeted post in Twitter history, beating someone else with big-name recognition -- Justin Bieber!
Obama's "Four more years" tweet, along with a picture of him embracing his wife, Michelle Obama, was posted just minutes after networks declared him the winner of the 2012 election. Currently, the post has been retweeted more than 650,000 times, with over 200,000 votes for a user's 'favorite' message.
The post beat out the previous record holder, Justin Bieber, who tweeted a message for his "number one fan," Avalanna Routh, who died of cancer in September. The post, "RIP Avalanna. I love you," has been retweeted just over 200,000 times.
Bieber didn't seem to hold any hard feelings against the president, however, tweeting: "Alot of emotions right now. congrats President Obama...Im Canadian. Im good. #FreeHealthcare :)"
