According to the description on this controversial video, a couple of campers came upon something in the woods in Utah's Provo Canyon:
"We went camping in Provo Canyon (near Squaw Peak and Little Rock Canyon Overlook) and saw some deer up on a hill that we wanted to get a closer look at. On our way up, we thought we saw a bear, until the monster stood up and looked right at us. We ran straight to the car after that, leaving our tent and everything behind. It's probably all still up there."
The comments being left on the clip are almost unanimously incredulous:
"Omg, it's a guy in a big black suit...run! Lol, this is fake and I think it's an elaborate set up, sorry, but that's my opinion."
Others speculate that it's a bear. And some say the mysterious figure is simply another camper who ducked behind some bushes for a little privacy in order to take a potty break.
There's also lots of speculation that this could be a sneaky ad for a particular brand of beef jerky:
"Elaborate Viral Marketing by Jack Link's?"
Another popular theory:
"Lived in Provo, Utah for a few years, and this is obviously a fake. Provo has 120,000 college kids running around, and this video is obvious proof of something... boredom..."
Take a look, what do you see?
