A Los Angles judge threw out a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her family, ending three years of legal wrangling.
Spears’ former manager Sam Lutfi was suing the "X Factor" judge and her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears for battery, breach of contract and defamation.
Lutfi claimed Jamie Spears punched him, Britney Spears owed him money for his services as her manager and that Lynne Spears defamed him in her book.

On Thursday, People magazine reports Judge Suzanne Bruguera ruled that Lutfi failed to provide enough evidence to prove his case.
"I really thought long and hard about this," said Bruguera. "It's the right thing to do."

Jamie Spears' attorney Leon Gladstone told People after the case was dismissed that, "We're delighted, we feel it's the right result."
