Madonna has never been shy about her political leanings, but now it seems that some of her fans are fed up with her opinions.

The singer was booed at a concert in New Orleans Saturday night after she encouraged fans to vote -- but only for President Obama.

"Are you registered to vote?" she can be heard saying to the crowd in a moment that was captured on video. "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama."

After she heard the boos from the crowd, Madonna added, "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for. Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote."

The endorsement caused some fans to walk out of her concert, which was the latest leg of her "MDNA" tour.

HLN has reached out for comment from Madonna, but has not heard back as of this writing.

This is not the first time Madonna has gotten in trouble for urging fans to vote for Obama -- she told a crowd in Washington D.C. last month, ""So, you all better vote for f--kin' Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right, we have a black Muslim in the White House!"

The "Material Girl" singer pointed out that the statement was meant to be ironic, not taken at face value.
