File under: Awesome. Katy Perry and a young fan have put together what may be the perfect duet -- set to Perry's massive (and massively inspiring) hit "Firework."
Jodi DePiazza was diagnosed with autism when she was 2 years old. Though her parents were told she may never be able to communicate verbally, thanks to special autism education and Jodi's blossoming love of music, the 11-year-old is now, as her proud father says, limitless.
With Jodi at the piano, the duo sang for a taping of Comedy Central's "Night of Too Many Stars," which will air Sunday and benefits autism education programs like those that helped Jodi.
Though Perry might be the more famous one, for one night, her young fan was definitely the superstar. And if you have seen something sweeter today than Jodi clinging to Perry's waist as the crowd springs to their feet in applause, well, we want your life.
"I will never forget last night. It was the most important moment thus far of what I do," Perry tweeted about the performance. "Jodi is my firework."
