Is Russell Crowe and his wife divorcing?

New reports claim actor Russell Crowe and his musician wife, Danielle Spencer, are splitting.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the couple are ending their nine-year marriage. The couple met during the filming of the 1990 movie “The Crossing.” They would later marry in 2003.

Crowe has not responded to HLN’s request for a comment. According to People magazine, the split comes after a rocky summer. Crowe is currently living in the United States as he works on the film “Noah,” while Spencer remains in Australia with their two sons, Charles, 8, and Tennyson, 6.
