On July 30, 2012, Kelcey Harrison took off from Times Square in NYC and began running 35 miles a day towards San Francisco to raise money and awareness for Lung Cancer Research through Jill’s Legacy & The Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation.
In June 2009, Kelcey’s childhood friend, Jill Costello, was diagnosed with lung cancer. Just one year after her diagnosis, Jill passed away at the age of 22. Kelcey began her run to raise awareness in honor of Jill’s dream to end lung cancer.
