Brad Pitt can smolder.
Angelina Jolie has probably known this for some time, but now the rest of us can get a glimpse at his serious smoldering techniques in his new Chanel No. 5 ad.
Pitt is the first man to front the iconic women's perfume, which just released a black-and-white ad of the "Tree of Life" actor speaking sensually into the camera about love, life and where it takes us.
"It's not a journey," Pitt drawls in the 30-second spot. "Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it."
He continues, speaking about a mystery woman: "Plans disappear. Dreams take over. But wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune."
With one last glance into the camera, Pitt says, "Chanel No. 5. Inevitable."
The most iconic perfume in the world has had its fair share of beautiful spokeswomen, including Marilyn Monroe and Catherine Denevue, but this is the first time a man has taken the reins.
Check out the ad and tell us what you think. Should Chanel have gone with a female spokeswoman instead?
