Hulk Hogan says he is making no excuses for his leaked sex tape.

Tuesday, on the fourth hour of the "Today Show" with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, Hogan addressed the matter. “I’m not making excuses, I was accountable, I was the guy, I was there, I made the choice.”

Hogan explained that the video was taken six years ago at a friend’s house. He said he had no idea he was being taped. “It was at a really low point in my life when I was in a previous marriage when things were bottomed out completely, and I was with some friends and made a wrong choice and now all of a sudden it surfaces … and it’s appalling.”

Hogan said that his life has been turned upside down by the scandal. He said his kids are doing fine, but his new wife Jennifer is rattled by the controversy. “She’s not part of this media life or anything. She doesn’t deserve this,” explained Hogan. Hogan also admitted that he's devastated and has never been through something like this.

Through it all, Hogan said he plans on finding out who was behind the taping. According to TMZ, Hogan's lawyer is threatening legal action over the secretly shot footage.

HLN’s Showbiz Tonight will go one-on-one with Hulk Hogan on Wednesday at 11 p.m. ET.
