Ohio State Marching Band performs video game tribute

Something amazing happened on the football field Saturday night at Ohio Stadium.

Yes, the Ohio State Buckeyes trounced the nationally ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers by a score resembling something out of a middle school basketball game -- 63 to 38.

But that whipping was just the night's second-best performance.

The Ohio State Marching Band playing the theme music and spectacularly re-enacting scenes from classic video games easily won the night.

Sorry, Braxton Miller and this guy in the red jersey.

From the Space Invaders-inspired opening, through tributes to Super Mario Brothers, Zelda (OMG, the galloping horse at the 6:10 mark!), Halo and even a 16-bit dig at rival Michigan, the musicians clearly lived up to their nickname as The Best Damn Band In The Land.
