Mugshot: Fake cop demands free McDonald's?

Authorities say 36-year-old Florida man, Joseph Pineda, pretended to be a police officer in an attempt to get free food from a McDonald’s drive-through, WFTV reported.

After allegedly driving up to the drive-through wearing a fake badge and carrying a gun, police say Pineda told the restaurant employees he deserved free food because he was a cop.

Pineda was charged with impersonating a police officer and improper exhibition of a firearm. He was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting bond.
