Attorneys from both sides in the Casey Anthony civil defamation case have agreed not to mention her murder trial, because it could be too prejudicial.
In a hearing that lasted about 10 minutes Thursday, Judge Lisa Munyon told attorneys that if they want to bring up Anthony's murder trial during her defamation trial that they will have to discuss it with the judge first.
Anthony's attorneys filed a motion to bar evidence about the murder trial in September.
Zenaida Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation and claims she was harassed and threatened after Anthony came up with a fictitious nanny named Zenaida Gonzalez-Fernandez, also known as "Zanny the Nanny." Anthony accused the fictitious nanny of kidnapping her daughter, Caylee.
In July 2011, a jury acquitted Anthony of all the charges related to her child's death, but convicted her on four counts of lying to law enforcement. She was sentenced to four years. With credit for the time she served before and during her trial, she was released from jail July 17.
