Robert Sullivan has been through so much pain and now thieves has taken even more from him.
His 6-year-old granddaughter, Veronica Moser-Sullivan, was among the 12 people killed in the Aurora, Colorado, movie theater shooting on July 20. Sullivan said someone broke into his home early Tuesday and stole money and cameras, one of which contained a memory card with the last photos of Veronica before the shooting.
Sullivan said he downloaded the photo of Veronica eating a ice cream cone that was widely published after the shooting, but other photos of her at the park and at her kindergarten graduation had not been downloaded yet.
"There's a huge home in my heart from the loss of my granddaughter, and it seems to be getting ripped more," Sullivan told HLN affiliate KMGH.
Sullivan said he's pleading for the thieves return the memory card from the camera.
