A Delaware man arrested for his 7^th DUI reportedly told police he crashed his car because he was trying to avoid an elephant he saw running in front of his car, WPVI-TV reported.

Samuel Phipps was charged with driving a vehicle under the influence of a drug. He is being held on a $21,000 secured bond.
