‘Little House on the Prairie,’ the movie?

NEED TO KNOW
  • Sony Pictures is planning a feature-length film
  • Show was based on semi-autobiographical classic children’s book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder
"Little House on the Prairie" ran on TV from 1974 to 1983.

Could we be seeing Pa, Half-Pint, the rest of the Ingalls family and Nellie Oleson on the big screen soon? We sure hope so...

Entertainment Weekly reports Sony Pictures wants to bring the classic book series to theaters, and the man Sony wants to direct the film is none other than "Pineapple Express" director David Gordon Green. Does this mean James Franco could be popping up on the prairie?

This story has us so excited we've already started to think of casting possibilities. We are thinking Brad Pitt can fill the shoes of Michael Landon and portray Charles Ingalls. This would give Shiloh and Vivienne another chance to work with one of their superstar parents!
