Alabama fan Brian Downing pleaded guilty to two counts of obscenity Tuesday for rubbing his genitals on an unconscious LSU fan after Alabama beat LSU in the national championship game in January.

The incident at a Bourbon Street restaurant in New Orleans was caught on tape, then posted to YouTube. The controversial video went viral, and WWLTV reports Downing eventually turned himself in to authorities.

Downing was facing obscenity charges and sexual battery, a felony. As part of the plea deal, the latter charge was dropped.

Downing could face up to two years in jail, WWLTV reports. His sentencing will be November 29. He will also avoid having to register as a sex offender.
