Amanda Bynes found herself in hot water once again on Sunday. This time the former star of Nickelodeon’s “All That” had her car impounded after she was pulled over and the police found out she was driving with a suspended license.
This is just the latest drama in a long string of run-ins with the law for Bynes. And you know it is bad when troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan is calling Bynes out. Lohan tweeted on Sunday, “Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?”
Here’s a look a Bynes’ recent troubles:
April 6: Bynes arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and swiping a police car.
April 10: According to TMZ, Bynes slammed her rental car into a vehicle on the Los Angles freeway and then fled the scene.
June 6: Bynes’ attorney entered a plea of not guilty to her DUI arrest on April 6. The same day, Bynes takes to Twitter to defend herself. The person she reached out to? None other than the president of the United States. She tweeted, “Hey @BarackObama… I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end."
Unfortunately that was not the end of Bynes driving troubles.
August 4: Bynes accused of another hit and run. This time Bynes rear-ended a woman, had a brief conversation, but then fled the scene, according to TMZ.
September 6: Bynes charged with two misdemeanor hit-and-run counts stemming from her two incidents on April 10 and June 6.
The L.A. Times also reported on September 6 that a judge suspended Bynes’ license.
September 9: The Los Angeles Police Department told HLN that Bynes was pulled over in L.A. for driving without her headlights on, but given only a verbal warning (despite the fact that her license was likely suspended).
September 16: Bynes is cited for a driving with a suspended license, and her vehicle is impounded.
September 17: TMZ reports Bynes locks herself in a West Hollywood dressing room for nearly two hours.
Sept. 27: Bynes is due in Van Nuys Superior Court for hit-and run charges.
