Monday marks exactly one year since Kim Kardashian walked down the camera-laden aisle, marrying Kris Humphries in a ceremony made in reality TV show heaven.

Their “till death do us part” only lasted 72 days, and now the two seem to be in the middle of a messy, dragged out divorce.

While Kim might regret having said “I do,” HLN’s Showbiz Tonight thinks Kim should be happy for the short-lived marriage. Here’s why:

Kim was a basketball wife! Let’s not forget Humphries is an NBA player, which means Kim is now eligible for another reality TV show, VH1’s “Basketball Wives.” Something for her to keep in her back pocket when people are no longer Keeping up with the Kardashians!

Another reason Kim shouldn’t regret her marriage, it was a great party! How many people can say they threw a party costing millions of dollars with a star-studded guest list? Not many, but Kim made sure everything was picture (or reality-show camera) perfect for her big day!
