Kristen Stewart is now publicly apologizing for what she calls a "momentary indiscretion."
In a statement to People magazine Stewart says, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
People magazine was the first to report Kristen Stewart cheated on her "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson by having an affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, who is married with children.
Love in Hollywood is never easy and as Kristen professes her love for R-Patz the "Twilight" fans on Twitter are still heartbroken over the news.
TV Without Pity is declaring Wednesday a day of mourning tweeting, "Twihard flags flying at half-mast."
One fan of the couple doesn't want to see the fan based divided and made a plea for solidarity: "@Twihard_4eva: I hate to see this fandom divided right now! Guys, this is what they want. Believe in Robsten!"
We'll have to wait and see if Stewart's apology is enough to keep Robsten together.
