Depending on where you stand with roller coasters, taking one for a spin a mind-boggling 7,000 times either sounds like an exhilarating life goal or a brand new definition of hell. Judging from the joy on that man's face, above, let's go with the former for now.
You could say Gary Coleman (yes, his real name) is pretty into roller coasters. He told WXIX he started riding the Diamondback roller coaster at Kings Island near Cincinnati "just for fun." That was back in 2009, when the ride opened. On July 4th this year, Coleman rode the coaster for the 7,000th time. Intense? Just slightly. Coleman has racked up 1,100 rides just this season in 30 visits, which is about 37 rides per visit. Oh, and his personal best is 111 rides in one day.
To really drill the math home, that's 7,000 times on a ride that's 3 minutes long, has six drops higher than 100 feet and travels up to 80 miles per hour. All in all, Coleman has spent about 350 hours on the coaster. To give you an idea, just watch this 7,000 times:
Dizzy yet? For his big record, Coleman even donned a T-shirt with the number "7000" on it. Now THAT'S a souvenir picture worth taking home.
