Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing! After almost six years of marriage, Cruise and Holmes have announced they are no more.
“This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family,” Holmes’s attorney Jonathan Wolfe tells HLN. “Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”
Cruise's attorney Bert Fields tells HLN, “Katie has filed for divorce. Tom is very sad about it and is concentrating on the kids.”
In early 2005, Holmes and Cruise began dating and he proposed in June of that year at the Eiffel Tower. He was never shy about their romance and publicly proclaimed his love for his then-fiance with his infamous couch-jumping interview with Oprah Winfrey in November 2005.
