Jenny McCarthy, the 39-year-old blonde bombshell, is feeling sexier than she ever has, and she’s proving her point with a nude pictorial in Playboy!

The “Love in the Wild” host is making her sixth cover appearance on the legendary men’s magazine in the July/August double issue, which hits newsstands Friday.

McCarthy tells People magazine that she’s never felt better about her body and wanted to show that you can be sexy at any age. "I'm really proud of it," McCarthy says. "The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine.”

McCarthy will turn the big 4-0 in November. Other celebrities over the age of 40 to have graced the covers of Playboy include some you may not remember. Here are a few of the over-40, yet still-stunning actresses that bared all and showed that age is truly just a number.

Joan Collins: Well into her 40's by the time she posed nude for Playboy in 1983, the original “cougar” showed actresses half her age why men were still throwing themselves mercilessly at her feet.

Farrah Fawcett: When the iconic 70's beauty finally posed for Playboy, she was in her 50’s, but proved she still had the killer body and smile that made her an international sex icon.

Cindy Margolis: In 2008, then-42-year-old original Internet star Cindy Margolis wowed Playboy readers with her stunning Playboy cover and pictorial.

Lisa Rinna: The 45-year-old mother of two flaunted her curves in a sexy 2009 cover shoot for Playboy, which played up her gorgeous womanly body.

Goldie Hawn: In 1985, a 39-year-old Goldie Hawn stunned fans by appearing on the cover of Playboy posing in a giant martini glass wearing nothing but a white collar shirt, a black tie, and a pair of sexy sky-high heels. The issue became one of Playboy’s best-selling at the time, and helped shatter the misconception that women past their twenties could no longer be considered sexy.
