Sandusky trial: Who is 'Victim 1'?

The man known as "Victim 1" is expected to testify Tuesday morning that he met Jerry Sandusky when he was 11 years old through his charity the Second Mile.

The grand jury presentment says Victim 1 testified that Sandusky gave him cash, took him to football games, restaurants and church.  Sandusky also allegedly gave him clothes, a computer and golf clubs.

The indictment filed against Sandusky also outlines how Victim 1 would spend the night in a basement bedroom in Sandusky’s home, and that’s where the alleged sexual abuse took place.

Victim 1 testified that the abuse started with Sandusky cracking his back in the bedroom, with the touching slowly getting more invasive. The abuse eventually progressed from kissing to Sandusky allegedly performing oral sex on the boy. The alleged abuse began when he was 11 and lasted until he was 15.

In Session contributor Sara Ganim reports that Victim 1 was bullied so much when news spread that he was the accuser that set the whole Sandusky criminal investigation in motion that he had to change high schools.

Victim 1 turned 18 this last year, and recently graduated from high school.  He is even considering accepting a track scholarship.

Sandusky has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
